After a nice few days away last week, we hit back to reality this week with two venue visits in two days followed by a meeting at a fourth venue.

Venue visits are one of the most enjoyable parts of being a wedding planner. Being there as that journey unfolds, seeing which venues bring a spark to a couples’ eyes – Is it the one we had thought, or is it an alternative?

We strive to work with a select variety of venues here on the Costa del Sol, from private fincas to luxury beach clubs, seafront boutique hotels and high quality restaurants. When a couple start enquiring with us and plan a trip over to visit their preferred venues, we always recommend visiting only a maximum of 4 locations, as any more than this can then become a little overwhelming.

We work together with our clients in narrowing down that search, in some cases this means contacting venues we don’t regularly work with, and in some cases it means taking them to a venue they didn’t even list. It’s all part of the experience gathered over years in the industry, and every second is an absolute delight.

Venue visits also often give us our first bit of one-on-one non filtered time with our clients, it gives us a real chance to get to know our couples, and what they like and dislike off the page too. Before this contact has usually been by phone, email or in a sit down meeting, but on venue visits we get to liase in a more relaxed environment.

If you are considering getting married here on the Costa del Sol and would like Bespoke Weddings Spain to help you choose the perfect venue for your special day, please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
